Here's the thing: you don't have to be a Zoom Bomb, but it's not like you have a choice, either. The real question is: how do you avoid becoming one?

Etiquette is all about respect, and when you're on a Zoom call, that means respecting the time zone, the bandwidth, and the poor person who has to sit through 3 hours of meetings.

Chapter 3: The Dark Side of Zoom
But what about when the system fails? What about when Zoom decides to crash, or when the internet is slow, or when you just can't get the thing to work, period?
Well, that's when you call in the professionals. The IT department will sort it out, but in the meantime, you're stuck on a phone call with someone who's trying to troubleshoot while you're trying to troubleshoot, and you both end up in a lovely loop of technical jargon and mutual frustration.
